I love this wedding! Hamish and Shevaughn’s said ‘I do’ last September in a rural setting in the heart of Yorkshire. The ceremony took place at the beautiful Church of St John the Evangelist in Cullingworth followed by a reception in a gorgeously styled PapaKata sperry tent at Shevaughn’s family home.
The feel of the day was laid back but packed full of gorgeous details and lots of pretty florals by Forage and Blossom. They wanted to embrace their surroundings and make the most of the stunning scenery that was on their doorstep.
Shevaughn wore a stunning beaded gown and lace edged veil from Jenny Packham, with her hair and makeup perfectly done by Natalie Willingham creating the perfect bridal look
Kind words from Hamish and Shevaughn…
‘Melissa was fantastic to work with and made everything very easy for us. We chatted a bit before the big day and got a list of ‘family photos’ that were needed. Apart from the rapid fire 20-30 minutes needed to get these done Melissa snapped away in the background and has quite simply taken some absolutely stunning photos. We are so happy with them.
The thing that we loved most about Melissa was that she let us get on with our day and took the photos around us, now and again popping in to move my veil or straighten something. The last thing we wanted was a photographer who spends the day inches away from you ordering you around. It couldn’t have been further from that with Melissa.’
