Back in April Glen and Chorcha said I do in the heart of Manchester’s iconic city centre. I have so such love for this gorgeous couple, it was an absolute pleasure to be a part of their gorgeous day.
‘Glen and I met in Manchester 12 years ago, and then met again in Dubai 3 years ago. We are both originally from Manchester and both moved to Dubai for work (not at the same time). Living away from such a great city really does strengthen your appreciation and love for the place.’ – Chorcha
I first met Glen and Chorcha whilst I lived in Dubai, they had just got engaged and volunteered to model for a shoot I was working on (they aced it by the way). I had know idea at the time that they were from the UK, not only that … Manchester! We hit it off straight away but I had know idea at the time that they had plans to fly home and get married and I would be their wedding photographer.
‘From meeting Melissa I felt like I had known her for a while – we both felt so comfortable around her. Her style was effortlessly natural and the fact she was northern too was a real treat!
Then she told us she was moving back to the U.K and would carry on with wedding photography there – we didn’t even look at another photographer. In fact, Melissa was the first thing that was decided about our wedding – before the date and the venue!’ – Chorcha and Glen
Their day was the perfect for the surroundings … laid back city chic. With lots of gorgeous metallics and marble set against the beautiful architecture of Manchester city centre. Enjoy!
