I love newborn photography and it isn’t because of the tiny hands or the tiny wrinkly feet, it’s not even the tiny little cries that melt your heart or that lovely newborn baby smell (I don’t mean poop just so we are clear)… I love newborn photography because you get to witness and be a small part of something so special, a fleeting moment in a persons life that is beyond words, a Mummy and a Daddy who have an overwhelming amount of love, not just for their new baby but for one another too. I feel great privilege in recording these moments for them because as I know very well they aren’t that small for long, and before you know it you can hardly remember just how small those tiny hands and feet really were.
